Hello

I like the whole stack of a problem, from the product decision down to the bytes.

I'm a backend engineer at ExaDev, where I help build AdPeak and ship across the company's projects. What I care about most isn't the code itself. It's whether the thing actually works for the people using it.

That product instinct is why I like owning a problem end to end: shaping what gets built, then building it properly so it holds up in production.

What I'm building

Real projects, shipped to production.

A lot of my work is at ExaDev, including AdPeak, where I help own the backend and shape the product.

ExaDev adpeak.ai

AdPeak

An AI-powered platform that helps large e-commerce brands get far more from their advertising. Rather than chasing a handful of bestsellers, it works across an entire product catalogue to make every product earn its place.

My roleA leading hand on the product and the backend behind it. I help shape what AdPeak should do, own a big share of the backend that powers it, and handle the full-stack integration that ties everything into a product customers actually use.

Across the stack

Beyond AdPeak I've shipped widely at ExaDev: billing and SaaS tooling, internal platforms, and the services that tie projects together.

Backend · full-stack

From API to interface

I build the backend functionality that powers a project and wire it all the way through to the frontend, so features work end to end and not just in isolation.

Approach

Product first

I start from the outcome and work back to the architecture, so the engineering serves the product rather than the other way around.

Beyond code

Off the clock.

Away from the day job I like getting under the hood of how things work, playing games, and disappearing into a good sci-fi universe.

C · language design

A language & interpreter, from scratch

Designed and wrote my own programming language and its interpreter in C, from parsing to evaluation, the whole pipeline.

Certified geek

Doctor Who and a lot of sci-fi

A massive geek at heart. Long-time Doctor Who fan, forever deep in one sci-fi franchise or another. The same curiosity that pulls me into those worlds is what makes me want to know how everything works.

C++ · game dev · play

Games are where systems and play meet

I'm into game development and gaming, and it's a big part of why I enjoy C and C++ and getting close to the hardware. Performance, memory, and tight feedback loops are genuinely fun to me, and that low-level instinct keeps the high-level product work sharp.
